La puesta en valor de ese patrimonio minero, tangible e intangible, con una finalidad turística ha de hacerse a partir del conocimiento del comportamiento del turista y de las claves que determinan su satisfacción. A tal fin, se exponen los resultados del trabajo de campo efectuado entre los visitantes del Parque Minero de Riotinto.In this paper the case of the mining river Basin of the province of Huelva is treated(Spain), centered in the potentialities of its pyrites strip, mainly as from, the resources of thelocality of Minas Riotinto and of the initiatives carried out there.
