The maps were constructed by using four subsidiary layers, each of which reflects a particular parameter that governs acidification. The factors that determine vulnerability are: elevation above sea level, morphology of the terrain, areal extent and type of vegetation cover, and geology. This methodology has been applied to Grio river basin. The vulnerability map obtained has been contrasted with chemical data from springs and streams of studied areaspaAtribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 3.0 Españahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/AcidificationVulnerabilityIberian RangeGrio riverMapas de vulnerabilidad de las aguas subterráneas a la acidificación basados en el uso de SIG; Aplicación a la cuenca del río Crío (Zaragoza-España)Vulnerability maps GIS-based of groundwater to acid deposition; Application to Grio river basin (Zaragoza-España)journal articleopen access
