The Jurassic record of this area indicates the occurrence of large and diverse populations including theropod, sauropod and ornithopod tracks. The highest concentrations are located in muddy coastal plain, lagoon margin and deltaic environments (Terehes and Lastres Fms.J, most specially in channel related deposits: channel abandonment, channel margin (levee) and crevasse-splay facies. Semi-arid fluvial environments (Vega Fm.) provides a smaller number of tracks, most of them related also to channelized sandstone bodies. Sauropod footprints are comparatively scarce herespaAtribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 3.0 Españahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/DinosaursSedimentary environmentsPalaeoecologyJurassicAsturiasN.
