The growth rate of buildups decreased in the last decade. Four types of tufa buildups are found: tufa barrages, patch tufa buildups, tufa bars and tufa lateral bars often cover by mamillary stromatolites. Tufa barrages and patch tufa buildups mainly consist of crossed tubes moss tufa.
