The study of the sequential arragement of these deposits, also called Transgressive Basal Complex, lead us to differentiate three relative orders of transgressive-regressive cyclicity: minor, intermediate and mayor order cycles. The basic building blocks are the "fundamental sequences" which are associated to intermediate order cycles. Controlling factors of this sequences can be found among eustatic raises, tectonic activity, climatic changes and relative accumulation rates of sedimentary supplyspaAtribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 3.0 Españahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/CiclicitySequence StratigraphyTortonianGuadalquivir BasinEstudio preliminar de la organización secuencial del Complejo Basal Transgresivo en el Sector Central de la Cuenca del Guadalquivir (Tortoniense, SO España)Preliminary study of sequential arrangement of the Transgressive Basal Complex in the central sector of Guadalquivir foreland Basin (Tortonian, SW Spain)journal articleopen access
