Some petrographical and physical parameters (Mineralogical composition, absorption, free porosity, apparent density) and mechanical properties (compression and flexion strength resistance ) have been studied in order to establish a relation between them. The statistic study has showed the correlation between compression strength resistance and petrographical parameters. The content in cement has resulted to give the best correlation with mechanical propertiesspaAtribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 3.0 Españahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/SandstonePetrophysicsDurabilityPetrographyWestern PyreneesCaracterización petrofísica de areniscas del Eoceno Medio–Superior del Pirineo OccidentalPetrophysical characteristics of the middle-upper Eocene sandstones of the western Pyreneesjournal articleopen access
