In the studied area (Villanueva del Rio y Minas, Sevilla) theses surfaces allow us to identify different erosion levels and various morphological structures linked to such surfaces. According to: i) the transgressive deposits related to these relieves, ii) the types of materials that these surfaces have associated (sediments or substratum) and, iii) its topographic elevation, we can link these geomorphologic structures (“plataformas”, “mesas” y “cuestas”) to a transgressed sedimentary environment, such as a rocky shoreline or a sandy-gravel beach. Other data such as the erosive agent (wave) that generated theses surfaces or the situation of the shoreline during Tortonian can be inferredspaAtribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 3.0 Españahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/Erosion paleosurfaceTransgressive lag depositsGuadalquivir BasinAnálisis de modelados de erosión y depósitos residuales transgresivos en el Sector Central de la Cuenca del Guadalquivir (Tortoniense, SO de España)Analysis of erosive modelated and transgressive lag deposits in the Central Sector of the Guadalquivir Basin (Tortonian, SW Spain)journal articleopen access
