Samples of the atmospheric particles were collected using a medium volume sampler, MCV-8D, using cellulose filters (Millipore HÁWP04700). In order to determine the major phases, the samples were analyzed by X-Ray diffraction using a Siemens D-5000 X-ray powder diffractometer using the grazing incidence technique (detector scan). A comparative study of the mineral contents in two different areas in the city was carried out. A characterization of the mineral phases present in the particles collected using a cascade impactor was carried out in order to study its distribution in granulometric fractions (particle sizes between 0,3 and 30 pm)spaAtribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 3.0 Españahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/ParticlesAtmosphereCascade impactorX-ray diffractionDeterminación mineralógica del material particulado inorgánico en suspensión en la atmósfera de Castellónjournal articleopen access
