Item type: Item , Xenolitos de metapelitas de alto grado en metabasitas: evidencia del emplazamiento en corteza continental del magmatismo básico Nevado-Filábride (Cordilleras Béticas)(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Gómez Pugnaire, M. T.; Muñoz, MercedesXenoliths from the continental crust have been found in the olivine-bearing dolerites in the Nevado-Filábride complex. This material is partially melted and assimilated by the igneous rocks and therefore chemical and mineralogical composition of both basaltic melts and xenoliths was modified: the xenoliths are composed of metamorphic and restite portions and in the basaltic melt the Al2O3 and SiO2 content increased in the sites with a higher xenolith content. The latter represent part of a metamorphic continental crust enclosed within the magma during its ascent and indicate, as do other chemical and geological features, that the metabasites were amplaced in the continental crustItem type: Item , Valor de la deformación dúctil asimétrica en el ortogneis de Lubrín (Manto de Bédar-MacaeI, Complejo Nevado-Filábride, Béticas)(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Soto, Juan I.; García Dueñas, V.; Martínez Martínez, J. M.Se ha estudiado la tensión en un cuerpo ortogneisico (Lubrín orthogneiss) del Bédar-Macael Nappe deformado por una gran zona de cizallamiento con un tejido mylonitic asociado. Implicaciones petrogenéticas(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Corretgé Castañón, Luis Guillermo; Fernández Suárez, Javier; Suárez Hernando, Oier; Gallastegui, G.This paper constitutes a summary of the preliminary studies on zircon populations from seven granitoid stocks of the Cantabrian and West Asturian Leonese zones. The frequency distribution, mean point and typological evolutionary trend of each population have been calculated. In the northeastern border of the Duero Bassin two erosional surfaces formed on mesozoic materials are distinguished. The oldest one, actually limited to isolated summits, is probably of middle-Miocene age. The youngest one is linked to the colmation surface of the Duero Bassin («Páramos» limestones) and therefore of Turolian-Pliocene age. Tectonic deformations with a NW-SE strike affecting this surface in the southeastern border of the Cantabrian Chain are deducedItem type: Item , Submedios asociados a un sector intermareal de la ría de Huelva(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Borrego Flores, José; Morales González, Juan Antonio; Pendón Martín, José GabrielVarios sedimentary subenvironments relationed to the Huelva Ria are described. In this way there are identified the active channel-margin, the salt-marsh and the sterilemarsh environments. The sequenial arangement is of clear regressive affinityItem type: Item , Rellenos pelágicos Jurásicos en el interior del Permotrías de la Unidad de Montecorto (Cordillera Bética, provincia de Cádiz y Málaga)(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Martín Algarra, Agustín; Checa, A.A network of fissure-fillings of red pelagic limestones and breccias constitutes the only Jurassic formation of the Montecorto Unit. These fillings are enclosed within continental red-beds (cross-bedded sandstones and pelites) of supposed Permo-Triassic age and contain rich ammonite faunas of Lower Tithonian age. Key wordsItem type: Item , Reconocimiento del Cenomaniense medio y superior en el Prebético de Murcia: los rudistas de la Sierra del Cuchillo(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Philip, J.; Martín Chivelet, JavierRudists remains found in secondary dolostones or very recrystalized limestones permits, by once, to date platform carbonate series of Upper Cenomanian age in the Prebetic area. The presence of Turonian has not been proved, but, if it exists, it should be restricted to few meters of dolomitic marls with paleosolsItem type: Item , Presencia de Serravalliense marino en la cuenca de Níjar (Cordillera Bética, España)(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Serrano Lozano, FranciscoThe existence of marine sedimentary materials of the Middle Miocene in the Níjar Basin is noted. The series is extended from the Upper Langhian to Upper Serravallian. These materials were deposited in marine basin open to pelagic influences. In the sediments attenuate magmatic effects, correlationable with the volcanism of Gata, are markedItem type: Item , Precisiones sobre el Cretácico superior del subsuelo urbano de Oviedo(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Torres Alonso, M.; Gutiérrez Claverol, M.The top of the Cretaceous section at Oviedo has been studied from the stratigraphic, petrographic and paleontological point of view, in order to increase the knowledge of a previosly little know sequence. An abundant microfossil assemblage found there permitted dating it, for the first time, as of Santonian ageItem type: Item , Paleofosa Tectónica con Relleno de Ammonítico Rosso del Jurásico Superior (Subbético Externo; provincia de Córdoba)(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Ruiz Ortiz, Pedro Alejandro; Checa, A.; Molina, José MiguelA recurrence in the Upper Jurassic Ammonitico Rosso facies sequence of the External Subbetic is described and interpreted as the deposition in the two blocks of an active Jurassic fault, in account of the features associated to the fault plane and the fan morphology of bed sets. The present relief is considered a relict Jurassic topography generated in the rifting phase affecting the basin in the Middle Jurassic. These events caused a major stratigraphic break occurring at the top of the ooid limestones of the Middle Jurassic (Camarena Fm.)Item type: Item , Nuevos datos y modelo genético sobre brechas jurásicas generadas en relación con fallas transcurrentes (Subbético Externo. Provincia de Córdoba)(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Molina, José Miguel; Ruiz Ortiz, Pedro AlejandroIn the External Subbetic, Upper Jurassic coarse breccias organized in lenticular sedimentary bodies prograding to the west, are genetically relationed to N-S transcurrent faults affecting to the basin to the end of the Middle Jurassic. The breccias were probably deposited over a sunken block displaced to the north in respect of the northern palaeogeographic units, which stratigraphic series made up a main source area. The sunken block was probably emerged during the Late Liassic and Middle Jurassic, so that the breccias are underlied by the Lower Liassic Gavilan FmItem type: Item , Margen de plataforma carbonática del Jurásico superior, en el sur de la Cuenca Neuquina, Argentina(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Matheos, Sergio DanielThe Jurassic (Oxfordian) limestones of the south part of the Neuquen basin are interpreted as transgresive-regresive depositional sequence development in a plataform marginItem type: Item , Los múridos del Pleistoceno medio de Atapuerca (Burgos, España). Distribución estratigráfica(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Gil Bazán, E.This work is a description of the MURIDAE fossils remains found in the karst fillings of Atapuerca (Burgos, Spain) and their stratigraphical distributionItem type: Item , Los castores del mioceno inferior de la Cuenca del Ebro (Sector Centro-OccidentaI)(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Aldana Carrasco, Elis J.This work describe dental characters of beaver from Basin Ebro (Iower Miocene). In adition, sistematic and paleoecological aspects were discussedItem type: Item , Las formaciones esponjiolíticas del Dogger de la región Vasco-Cantábrica: Características y posibilidades petrolíferas(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Quesada, Santiago; Pujalte, Victoriano; Robles, Sergio; Vicente Bravo, J. C.Siliceous sponges occur in the western Basque-Cantabrian region at two stratigraphic intervals: at the Lower Bajocian they appear in small mounds (less than 1 m.) isolated within a predominantly marllimestone succession; an at the Upper Bajocian (Parkinsoni Biozone) as larger bioherms and biostromes, within an extensive carbonate platform. The latter is up to 20 m. thick and a better hydrocarbon target than the Lower Bajocian mounds, mainly as fractured reservoirs. An example is described where local tectonics have determined a pervasive fracturation of these rocks, thus creating an important secondary porosityItem type: Item , Las facies terrígenas del Muschelkalk basal en el extremo noroccidental de la Cordillera Ibérica(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Pérez Mazarío, F.; Aracil Ávila, E.; Hernando, S.; Rincón, R.Clastic Materials of basal Muschelkalk in the northestern edge of Iberian Ranges represent subtidal environments and even high energy events in the inner platform (presence of H.C.S.). Such events disturb the inter and supratidal sedimentation development of both under and overlaying unitsItem type: Item , Las facies de areniscas en el Keuper inferior del Trías Subbético de Alcaudete (Cordillera Bética)(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Pérez López, Alberto; López Chicano, ManuelBeds of intercalated sandstones among the silt of Keuper facies, in the region of Alcaudete, is interpretated by this report as a deposit of several subenrionments inside a ephemeral fluvial system, made up by unstable and poor defined channels, with frequent fluctuations of the flow alternating sedimentation and erosion. The mechanism of channel infilling (with avulsion) are the predominant ones, as well as the ones of overflowing and spilling together with those of sheet flowItem type: Item , La pirólisis Rock-EvaI en el caso de las muestras ricas en sales(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Callaba, A.; Castaño, R. M.; Marfil Pérez, RafaelaIn this paper is presented a diffential behaviour during pyrolisis Rock-Eval between rich and non salt samples belonging to the Neogene Tertiary argillaceous sediments from the Tajo BasinItem type: Item , Evolución de las deformaciones alpinas en el Sistema Central Español (S.C.E.)(Sociedad Geológica de España, 1989) Capote, Ramón; Vicente, Gerardo de; González Cadado, J. M.The Alpine Structure in the Spanish Central System results from three main regional deformation phases (1-Ibérica, 2-Guadarrama, 3-Torrelaguna) with differents shortening directions, 1-N45E, 2-N750E, 3-N160-200E. The Guadarrama phase (2) include thrusting and Torrelaguna phase (3) include neotectonics
