Geotermometría de las anfibolitas de Acebuches en el sector de Almonaster la Real (Huelva)

Abstract

The amphibole-plagioclase geothermometer has been applied to three representative samples of the Acebuches amphibolites (Aracena massif). The results imply the existence of high temperature (900-750ºC) ductile shear affecting part of this massif. The thermal evolution is compatible with the tectonic models in which a high temperature slab cooled and was highly deformed at the same time

Se ha aplicado el geotermómetro anfíbol-plagioclasa a tres muestras representativas de las anfibolitas del Acebuches, macizo de Aracena. Los resultados muestran la existencia de alta temperatura (900º-750ºC) de cizalla dúctil que afecta a parte del macizo. La evolución termal es compatible con los modelos tectónicos en los cuales un bloque a alta temperatura se enfrió y, al mismo tiempo, se deformó mucho.
