Abstract
This is the first study carried out exclusively at the archaeological site of Mesa del Castillo (Manzanilla, Huelva) which is identified with the enclave of Ostur. The study is based on the analysis of the available archaeological sources relating to the enclave of Ostur, mainly epigraphy, numismatics and sculpture, and also the study of the ceramic material from the only archaeological surveys carried out at the site. Finally, a series of reflections concerning municipal development and the structuring of the territory of the Tierra Llana of Huelva are undertaken.
