Estructura narrativa y burlas femeninas en El prevenido engañado

Abstract

Este trabajo se ocupa de analizar la novela El prevenido engañado a través de su estructura y la función de las burlas femeninas, para revelar los mecanismos de construcción de un discurso sobre las relaciones entre hombres y mujeres desde la perspectiva protofeminista de María de Zayas. En el análisis se evidencia una especie de espiral en la trayectoria de su protagonista, don Fadrique. La sólida estructura de la novela, así como el empleo de la onomástica, permite detectar rasgos religiosos y alegóricos puestos al servicio de un mensaje doble (para hombres y para mujeres) que supone una defensa de la educación femenina. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This article analyses the short novel El prevenido engañado through its structure and the role of feminine tricks, to reveal the elaboration of a discourse on relationships between men and women, developed by the author, the protofeminist María de Zayas. The analysis shows a sort of spiral in the trajectory of the protagonist, don Fadrique. The solid structure of this literary piece, along with the use of ono-mastics, allows to detect religious and allegorical features which serve to design a double message (for both men and women) in defense of feminine education.
