Abstract
El Intercambio Electrónico de Documentos con clientes, proveedores, entidades financieras y administraciones públicas, es una filosofía que puede llegar a tener gran repercusión sobre las empresas, tanto en sus relaciones extemas como en las intemas. Por este motivo, este estudio analiza la percepción (por parte de las empresas) de todo este proceso del Intercambio Electrónico de Documentos (EDI) en el sector hotelero español a través de encuesta en 2 periodos, con un horizonte temporal de 10 años, y utilizando como marco comparativo el sector empresarial español en general. Obteniendo como resultados, un menor éxito dentro del sector hotelero español que en el resto del sector empresarial español en general, debiendo revertir su tendencia en los problemas de compatibilidad informática y en la estandarización y normalización de los datos
The Electronic Document Interchange with customers, suppliers, financial entities and public administrations is a philosophy that can have a great impact on companies, both in their external and internal relations.
