Abstract
referirse a procesos similares o superpuestos.
The theoretical basis of Processes-Based Therapy are presented, a recent approach whose academic bibliography in Spanish is scarce. Processes and cores of treatment of logotherapy are addressed, in parallel with proposals from other models, organizing them within the framework of the Extended Evolutionary Meta-Model (EEMM) of processes -based therapy. Throughout the article it is evident that the logotherapy was pioneering some central themes of second and third generation therapies, as well as positive psychology. However, beyond the studies on their general effectiveness, except in particular interventions, such as the paradoxical intention and the promotion of the discovery of the meaning of life, much of the concepts described are lacking empirical support. Along with this, the need to improve the precision and scope in its formulation is highlighted, since some seem to refer to similar or overlapping processes. An example of clinical case formulation is included and the EEMM potential as an organizational key is highlighted, which provides a common language and framework to integrate the most powerful elements of diverse interventions in each particular case and context
