El análisis de la prueba en el proceso especial de martirio en el mártir Antonio Jesús Díaz Ramos

Abstract

En el presente artículo trato de realizar un estudio histórico desde el martirio de los primeros cristianos hasta la actualidad, que incluye una reflexión teológica del martirio. La Iglesia española, transcurridos más de ochenta años del inicio de la Guerra Civil, está realizando un esfuerzo considerable para recuperar la memoria de estos mártires del siglo XX que fueron víctimas de ella y destacar su significado para nuestro presente. Son muchos los aspectos jurídicos que no hay que perder de vista cuando se trata de declarar el martirio. Intentaré en estas páginas destacar los elementos más importantes del procedimiento que concluye en la declaración del martirio de Antonio Jesús Díaz Ramos y su posterior beatificación.

In this article I try to carry out a historical study from the martyrdom of the first Christians to the present, which includes a theological reflection on martyrdom. The Spanish Church, more than eighty years after the start of the Civil War, is making a considerable effort to recover the memory of these 20th century martyrs who were victims of it and highlight their significance for our present. There are many legal aspects that must not be lost sight of when it comes to declaring martyrdom. I will try in these pages to highlight the most important elements of the procedure that concludes in the declaration of his martyrdom of Antonio Jesús Díaz Ramos and his subsequent beatification.
