Abstract
La formación de educadores sociales y su actual problemática es, sin duda, uno de los ejes recurrentes que vertebran múltiples debates en los foros del mundo educativo. La conceptualización de esta figura de intervención socioeducativa sigue prestándose en la actualidad a múltiples interpretaciones tanto en el ámbito nacional como internacional. Ahora bien, las profundas transformaciones de este mediador social y educativo hacen necesario estudios y reflexiones como las que nos ofrece el autor de este trabajo que clarifican el papel del educador social en esta sociedad a los umbrales de un nuevo milenio
The training of social educators and their current problems is, without a doubt, one of the recurring axes that form the basis of multiple debates in the forums of the educational world. The conceptualization of this figure of socio-educational intervention continues today to be interpreted at multiple national and international levels. However, the profound transformations of this social and educational mediator require studies and reflections such as those offered by the author of this work that clarify the role of the social educator in this society at the threshold of a new millennium.
