Abstract

The geologist Casiano de Prado and Edouard de Verneuil always had a good scientific as well as personal relationship, started in 1847 and maintained up to Casiano de Prado's death in 7 866.Nevertheless in recent years a different version on the origin of this relationship has been set up, postponing to 7 862 the time for their just- personal contact. This communication intends to show the unlikeliness of the new interpretation
