Nuevas herramientas para el procesamiento de datos cualitativos

Abstract

El estudio de las posibilidades técnicas que ofrecen los distintos softwares que existen en el mercado, se ha convertido en una necesidad si se quiere aprovechar esta cantidad de recursos facilitadores de la tarea de realizar análisis de datos cualitativos. Los autores con este artículo pretenden realizar una aportación en el sentido de clarificar las posibilidades de búsqueda, a nivel de qué buscar, de dos programas (Atlas.ti 4.1 y N-Vivo 1.2) que en principio están diseñados para el mismo fin: construir teorías basadas en la codificación.The study of the different technical possibilities offered by existing software on the market has become a necessity if there exists a willing of taking advantage of this amount of resources which facilitate the task of conducting a qualitative data analysis. In this article, the authors intend to conduct a contribution that clarifies search possibilities, in terms of what to search, of two programmes (Atlas.ti 4.1 and N-vivo 1.2) which were, in principle, designed for the same: the development of encoding based theories.
