La "desnudez" del galo y otros guerreros. Unas notas comparadas.

Abstract

Los escritores clásicos manifiestan profunda sorpresa ante la contemplación del ethos del guerrero celta en el combate. Ruido, alaridos, cantos, gestos y amenazantes actitudes son instrumentos destinados a infundir pavor al enemigo, y menoscabar su fuerza aún antes de la lucha. Además de todos estos elementos, fue el de la desnudez, que se inscribe en el terreno de lo irracional, el peor entendido. Dos milenios después, la mayoría de estas actividades pueden contemplarse en comunidades indígenas de las llanuras norteamericanas.
