El test Bender como detector de problemas emocionales y comportamentales en niños de 4º y 5º de primaria

Abstract

El principal objetivo es estudiar la relación entre los indicadores emocionales del Test de Bender y distintas variables sociodemográficas, madurativas, perceptivas y de personalidad. La muestra la forman 722 alumnos/as de 4º y 5º de primaria. Los instrumentos utilizados han sido el Test “G, el Test EPQ-J, el Test Staic, el test de Bender y un cuestionario para el profesor tutor. Los resultados mostraron una baja relación entre inmadurez perceptiva e inestabilidad emocional; se descartan correlaciones entre los indicadores emocionales y las variables de personalidad y ansiedad. Se observa correlaciones entre conductas disruptivas y asociales y distintos indicadores del test de Bender. No presentan diferencias en los distintos indicadores emocionales en razón de sexo, nivel socioeconómico, pero sí respecto al tipo de colegio (concertado/público) y su ubicación (capital/periferia). Como conclusión señalar la utilidad del Test de Bender como screening para detectar desajustes madurativos y sus consecuencias en problemas emocionales y conductas antisociales.------------------------------------------The main aim is to study the relationship between emocional indicators of Bender Test and different socio-demography, maturity, perceptive and personality variables. The sample is formed by 722 pupils in the 4th and 5th levels of Primary Education. The instruments used have been, “G” Test, EPQ-J Test, Staic Test, Bender Test and a questionnaire for the form-teacher. The results show a low relationship between perceptive immaturity and emotional unstable; it is ruled out correlations among emotional indicators and personality and anxiety variables. It is noticed correlations among disruptive and antisocial behaviours and different Bender Test indicators. They don’t show differences in the different emotional indicators because of gender or social and economical levels but we can notice the differences because of types of schools (public/private) and their situation (town/outskirts). As a conclusion, we can use to Bender Test as a screening to detect maturity disadjustments and their consequences in emotional problems and antisocial behaviours.
