Abstract
En este estudio, se analizan los componentes de la economía colaborativa, centrándose en el turismo colaborativo. Se estudia el alojamiento P2P, en concreto, el alojamiento turístico online, a través de la plataforma www.couchsurfing.com. Couchsurfing, es una plataforma online destinada al intercambio gratuito entre personas. Mediante la utilización de un modelo de elección discreta, se analizan las relaciones de dependencia existentes entre los usuarios de la web. El fin, es poder cuantificar la probabilidad de aceptación ante una futura petición de alojamiento a través de la plataforma. Se establecen las principales variables, en cuanto a alojamiento entre usuarios se refiere, que determinan el éxito de aceptación en la plataforma. La muestra está compuesta por usuarios activos en la comunidad couchsurfing. Los resultados empíricos obtenidos y la literatura estudiada, permiten identificar variables relevantes para esta tipología de intercambio. Se remarca la importancia que éste, el nuevo turismo, tiene en nuestra sociedad

Couchsurfing.com. Couchsurfing is an online platform for free exchange between people. Through the use of a discrete choice model, we analyze the dependency relationships between the users of the web. The purpose is to be able to quantify the probability of acceptance before a future request for accommodation through the platform. It establishes the main variables, as far as accommodation between users is concerned, that determine the success of acceptance in the platform. The sample is made up of active users in the couchsurfing community. The empirical results obtained and the literature studied allow us to identify relevant variables for this type of exchange.
