Puntales para el estudio de la antropología del creer de Michel de Certeau

Abstract

Las creencias siempre fueron el núcleo del interés intelectual de Michel de Certeau, pensador jesuita francés que atravesó el siglo XX elaborando una obra original y sorprendente. Sin embargo, y a pesar del interés que tendría conocer las ideas principales de su trabajo, existe una verdadera escasez de estudios dedicados a su antropología del creer. A través del estudio de los principales textos de Certeau sobre el tema y de los autores que lo han tratado, se exponen aquí algunas conclusiones que podrían servir como punto de partida de investigaciones posteriores.

Beliefs have been the core of the intellectual interest of Michel de Certeau, French Jesuit thinker who developed an original and surprising work during the twentieth century. However, despite the importance of the main ideas of his works, only a few studies have been written about his anthropology of belief. Through the study of Certeau's major texts and of other authors on this subject, some conclusions are presented here that could be used as a starting point for further research.
