Interculturalidade e formaçao de professores

Abstract

En este artículo el autor reflexiona sobre la necesidad de que el Sistema Educativo, en general, y la formación de profesores, en particular, no permanezcan indiferentes ante la palpable realidad de la heterogeneidad social Y cultural de los alumnos en las escuelas, especialmente los procedentes de comunidades extranjeras, pero también de minorías étnicas y culturales. Urge, por ello, reflexionar y pensar en nuevos principios, estrategias y prácticas educativas en función de una visión humanista del hombre como persona que se construye a sí mismo con los otros. Formar profesores interculturales, por tanto, es una necesidad y un reto al que se enfrenta la educación en nuestros días

In this article, the author reflects on the need for the Educational System, in general, and teacher training, in particular, not to remain indifferent to the palpable reality of the social and cultural heterogeneity of students in schools, especially those from of foreign communities, but also of ethnic and cultural minorities. It is urgent, therefore, to reflect and think about new principles, strategies and educational practices based on a humanist vision of man as a person who constructs himself with others. Training intercultural teachers, therefore, is a necessity and a challenge facing education in our day.
