El liderazgo de los equipos directivos respecto a las buenas prácticas educativas en Andalucía

Abstract

La educación avanza a un ritmo más desacelerado de lo que lo hace la sociedad, las diferentes necesidades creadas y los continuos cambios normativos hacen tremendamente complicado que el ritmo sea semejante. Es ampliamente reconocido el papel del liderazgo educativo en el impulso de los procesos de innovación respondiendo a los retos de una sociedad global y cambiante. En Andalucía, una de las regiones de la Unión Europea con mayor índice de abandono escolar prematuro, es especialmente importante liderar procesos innovadores que atiendan eficientemente a este problema. En este estudio se buscó identificar la preparación de los centros escolares para emprender con éxito de las buenas prácticas educativas en la región de Andalucía, España. Se realizó un estudio mixto, en el que primeramente se realizó el estudios cuantitativo, mediante una encuesta (ad hoc) aplicada a una muestra representativa de miembros de equipos directivos de los centros educativos de infantil, primaria y secundaria, de centro en Andalucía. Para después con los resultados recabados, se realizó un grupo focal con la participación de reconocidos docentes o personas vinculadas a la escuela andaluza, a fin de contractar los resultados obtenidos en la fase cuantitativa. Los resultados evidenciaron la necesidad de fortalecer las conexiones con la familia y la comunidad, así como de una mayor significatividad en las acciones de formación del profesorado desde la universidad, los centros de profesores y la propia organización escolar, las buenas prácticas educativas facilitan el aprendizaje en especial el del alumnado con necesidades específicas de apoyo educativo, estas prácticas deben de ser lideradas por los equipos directivo, recogidas en el plan anual de centro. De este estudio se concluye que: los equipos directivos lideran las buenas prácticas educativas, fomentan el trabajo cooperativo en busca de la cercanía de sus docentes, motivando al claustro hacia la consecución de los objetivos planteado por el equipo directivo. En perspectivas futuros de estudios, invitamos a reflexionar sobre la importancia de incluir la formación en buenas prácticas educativas desde las propias Universidades a fin de, ayudar a optimizar los recursos humanos de los centros educativos.

Education is advancing at a slower pace than society does. The creation of different needs together with the continuous changes in laws causes that the pace of both institutions hardly share any similarities. The role of leadership in educational spheres when driving innovation processes that respond to the challenges of the global and changing society is widely recognized. In Andalusia, which is one of the regions of the European Union with the highest rate of early school leaving, it is especially important to lead innovative processes that address this problem in an efficient way. This study sought to identify the preparation of schools to successfully undertake good educational practices in the region of Andalusia, Spain. A mixed study was conducted then; the first focus was on the quantitative analysis by means of an (ad hoc) survey applied to a representative sample of members from the management teams of pre-school, primary and secondary schools in Andalusia. Once the results had been collected, a focus group was carried out with the participation of renowned teachers or people involved with the Andalusian school, in order to contract the results obtained in the previous quantitative phase. The results obtained demonstrated the need to strengthen connections with the family and the school community, as well as the relevance to attribute a greater significance to teacher training activities from the university, teachers' centres and the school organisation itself. Goof practices in education facilitate learning, especially for pupils with specific needs of educational support. These practices must be led by the management teams and reflected in the annual plan of the centre. From this study it is concluded that the management teams that lead good educational practices encourage cooperative work to build closeness among their teachers and motivate them towards the achievement of the objectives set by the teams. In future perspectives of studies, we invite to reflect on the importance of including training in good educational practices from the universities in order to help optimize the human resources of educational institutions.
