¿La escuela en el diario o... el diario en la escuela?

Abstract

El proyecto de «El diario en la escuela» es una de las más dilatadas y consolidadas experiencias que se llevan a cabo en Hispanoamérica para la integración de los periódicos en las aulas, con la finalidad de fomentar alumnos más críticos y creativos. Surgida en los comienzos de la democracia argentina, la formación del espíritu lector para la educación ciudadana ha sido el eje vertebrador de este pionero proyecto, referente en múltiples países americanos y europeos. La autora de este trabajo, impulsora y alma mater del mismo, nos ofrece pautas para comprenderlo y valorarlo.

The project of <<The newspaper in the classroom>> is one of the most extensive and consolidated experiences that have been carried out in Spanish America for the integration of newspapers in the classrooms, with the purpose of fomenting more critical and creative students. Risen up in the beginning of the Argentinean democracy, the training of the reader spirit for the civic education has been the supporting axis of this pioneering project, a model in multiple American and European countries. The author of this work, promoter and alma mater of the work, offers us guidelines to understand and appreciate it.
