Informe Psicológico de Trastorno Específico del Aprendizaje con Dificultades en la Lectura y en la Expresión Escrita

Abstract

El presente trabajo consiste en el informe de la evaluación del caso de una niña de 9 años que acude a consulta por dificultades en comprensión lectora, lectura y escritura. Se analiza su historia evolutiva y se realiza un examen tanto de los aspectos conductuales y cognitivos, como de las dimensiones afectivas y sociales que pudiesen estar implicadas en las dificultades manifestadas. Además, se aplican la Escala de Inteligencia de Wechsler para niños-V (WISC-V), la Batería de Evaluación de los Procesos Lectores (PROLEC-R) y la Prueba de Evaluación de los Procesos de Escritura (PROESC). Los resultados obtenidos tanto en las entrevistas como en las pruebas administradas permiten establecer el diagnóstico de Trastorno Específico del Aprendizaje con dificultades en la lectura y dificultades en la expresión escrita (DSM-5-TR, American Psychiatric Association, 2022). Por último, se ofrecen pautas para el trabajo con las dificultades de lectura y escritura presentadas por la paciente

The present work consists of the psychological report of the evaluation of the case of a 9-year-old girl who comes to the consultation for difficulties in reading comprehension, reading and writing. Her developmental history is analyzed, and an examination is carried out of both the behavioral and cognitive aspects, as well as the affective and social dimensions that could be involved in the difficulties manifested by the child. In addition, the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for children-V (WISC-V), the Reading Process Assessment Battery (PROLEC-R) and the Writing Process Assessment Test (PROESC) are applied. The results obtained both in the interviews and in the tests administered make it possible to establish the diagnosis of Specific Learning Disorder with difficulties in reading and difficulties in written expression (DSM-5-TR, American Psychiatric Association, 2022). Finally, guidelines are offered for working with the reading and writing difficulties presented by the patient
