Abstract
Poco conocemos en occidente del mundo
islámico, más bien estereotipos o informaciones
que llegan mediatizadas por intereses
ideológicos, y mercantiles de una sociedad
patriarcal, dominada por poderes económicos,
ideológicos, interesados en mantener las corrientes
oficiales.
The people in Occident are discovering the Islamic World slowly, specifically with stereotypes or mediated information that are distorted for the ideological and economic interests of a patriarchal society, ruled by economic and ideological powers interested in maintaining the official tendencies. In Muslim countries there are fights and independence ideas. Women -who still are in a difficult and sometimes invisible situation- organize themselves, scream, manifest and achieve significant advances. In this article I analyze the situation of this fight for dignity, independence and the education of the Islamic woman taking as the referent the comic “Qahera” – which belongs to the 3D animated series “Burka Avenger”, as well as some public events.
