Desarrollo social y política digital: contradicciones presentes en la escuela

Abstract

En este artículo se busca reflexionar en torno a la pregunta ¿cómo se refleja la política digital presente en el currículum escolar en el desarrollo social del país? Para llevar a cabo el objetivo la discusión se centra en los fines educativos de la escuela y cómo estos se han ido modificando según el panorama político y el sistema económico imperante. La brecha social y las desigualdades que caracterizan a la región y en particular a nuestro país, producto de las reformas neoliberales y sus implicancias en el sistema escolar. Asimismo, la puesta en cuestión de la noción de desarrollo y cómo esto se asocia a los fines del sistema educativo actual. Como resultado nos encontramos con una escuela cuestionada, donde prevalecen las políticas que fomentan una educación basada en competencias con la promesa de inclusión y bienestar laboral, cuyas consecuencias se traducen en el mantenimiento de la brecha social y las desigualdades históricasThis paper seeks to reflect on the question of how the digital policy present in the school curriculum is reflected in the social development of the country. To carry out the objective, the discussion focuses on the educational goals of the school and how these have been modified according to the political panorama and the prevailing economic system. The social gap and the inequalities that characterize the region and in particular our country are the result of neoliberal reforms and their implications for the school system. Also, the questioning of the notion of development and how this is associated with the aims of the current education system. As a result, we find ourselves with a questioned school, where policies that promote competence-based education with the promise of inclusion and wellbeing in the workplace prevail, the consequences of which translate into the maintenance of the social gap and historical inequalities
