Abstract
El desarrollo y mantenimiento de la salud en los niños de edad escolar
es la meta principal para promover la salud nutricional y las conductas de
actividad física del programa CATCH. Concretamente el componente de
Educación Física tiene los siguientes objetivos: involucrar a los alumnos en al
menos 200 minutos de actividad física a la semana, involucrar a los estudiantes
en actividades físicas de moderadas a vigorosas al menos el 50% del de la clase
de educación física, proveer a los estudiantes de muchas oportunidades de
participación y practicar habilidades, y proveer a los estudiantes de una
variedad de actividades físicas divertida. Este artículo hace un resumen de
cómo llevarlo a cabo, además de proponer algunas recomendaciones para
maximizar los esfuerzos y hacer una sesión divertida y segura

Specifically the Physical Education component has the following objectives: Involve students in the minus 200 minutes of physical activity a week, involve students in moderate to vigorous physical activities at least 50% of the physical education class, provide students with many opportunities for participation and practice skills, and provide students of a variety of fun physical activities.
