Abstract
Es una necesidad sentida por todos los especialistas que España tenga una nueva Ley de Enjuiciamiento
Criminal que sustituya a la vetusta de 1882, todavía vigente. En un momento en el que parece que por fin puede
acometerse tal iniciativa políticamente parece intención común avanzar hacia un modelo más acusatorio, más anglosajón,
siendo el considerado el proceso penal federal de los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, pero no todo son ventajas,
hay muchos riesgos. Una pura copia sería un desastre, un abandono de nuestras propias instituciones que han
funcionado bien sería un fracaso. Este artículo advierte de ello, partiendo del modelo
