Escrituras híbridas en la literatura fantástica de Dante Medina

Abstract

La innovación en el lenguaje es esencial porque supera los sesgos en el uso del lenguaje y expande su forma y significado. En el siglo XX la Literatura Hispanoamericana tuvo un desarrollo muy notable en la experimentación del lenguaje, por ello, esta investigación se centra en el estudio de una obra innovadora en el campo de las escrituras híbridas. Esta renovación de la lengua se engendra desde ya hace varios años en Jalisco, México: la escritura de Dante Medina proviene de una tradición de ruptura, —desde la narrativa fantástica— crea sus (in) definiciones estructurales y, en ese rompimiento, alarga los límites de la lengua. Juan Rulfo le atribuyó en sus Obras Completas: “Dante Medina está usando un lenguaje muy nuevo, completamente original y poco, poco frecuente en la literatura mexicana. Y lo mismo se puede decir de la literatura latinoamericana. Creo yo que el mérito consiste no sólo en los neologismos, sino en la transposición de los sueños”. Dante Medina rompe con normas preestablecidas, y creencias dominantes sobre la “destrucción de la estructura” cuando en realidad se trata de una recreación, una novedad. Desde 1986 el autor ofrece nuevos géneros textuales, que surgen de la hibridación de la estructura del relato con los gustos del ensayo, la poesía o la novela. En el siglo XXI, las posibles reglas que operan en la creación de nuevos géneros literarios son la audacia y la creatividad de una tradición literaria: en la literatura mexicana contemporánea hay nuevos cultivadores para enriquecer la Lengua Española.

Innovation in language is essential because it overcomes biases in the use of language and expands its form and meaning. In the 20th century, Hispano-American Literature had a very notable development in language experimentation; therefore, this research focuses on the study of an innovative work in the field of hybrid writings. This renewal of the language has been engendered for several years now in Jalisco, Mexico: Dante Medina's writing comes from a tradition of rupture, —from the fantastic narrative— he creates his (in)structural definitions and, in that rupture, lengthens the language limits. Juan Rulfo attributed to him in his Complete Works: "Dante Medina is using a very new language, completely original and rare, rare in Mexican literature. And the same can be said of Latin American literature. I believe that the merit consists not only in the neologisms, but in the transposition of dreams". Dante Medina breaks with pre-established norms, and dominant beliefs about the “destruction of the structure” when it is about a recreation, a novelty. Since 1986 the author offers new textual genres, which arise from the hybridization of the structure of the story with the likes of the essay, poetry, or the novel. In the 21st century, the possible rules that operate in the creation of new literary genres are the audacity and creativity of a literary tradition: in contemporary Mexican literature there are new cultivators to enrich the Spanish Language.
