Abstract
Asistimos en la actualidad a un momento de cambio en la concepción del proceso final de la vida. La muerte de la persona se ve no como un resultado inevitable, sino como el resultado de un proceso al cual el derecho no debe permanecer al margen. Garantizar v contribuir al reforzamiento de la autonomía y la dignidad de la persona en este proceso constituye un deber ineludible de todos los poderes públicos, pero para ello deben aclararse los conceptos y lasformas, especialmente la diferencia entre eutanasia y cuidados paliativos
