Apoyo a las familias durante el proceso de transición a la maternidad y la paternidad

Abstract

Este artículo tiene un doble objetivo. En primer lugar, se analiza el proceso de transición a la maternidad y la paternidad, describiendo los principales cambios que mujeres y hombres experimentan al convertir¬se en padres. En segundo lugar, se analizan las necesidades de apoyo de las familias durante este proceso y se presentan los programas de for¬mación de madres y padres como un tipo de intervención psicoeducati¬va muy apropiada para cubrir las necesidades de las familias.

This article has a double aim.First at all analizes the process of transition to the motherhood and the fatherhood,describing the main changes that women and men experience to turn into parents.On a second place, analize the necesities of support to the families by all the process and also are presented the programmes of mothers' and fathers' education as a kind of psicoeducative intervention and very suitable to cover the families'necesities.
