Formación Permanente para los docentes en Servicio de Educación Especial del área de Deficiencias Auditivas en Venezuela

Abstract

Este trabajo se centra en diagnosticar las necesidades formativas y el perfil real que tienen los docentes de educación especial, de deficiencias auditivas, en Venezuela, con la finalidad de diseñar una propuesta de formación permanente que responda tanto a las necesidades planteadas por los maestros, como al perfil ideal requerido por el Estado Venezolano. Las cuestiones que se plantea esta investigación son: ¿Cuál es el perfil de los docentes en servicio, en la modalidad de Educación Especial del área Deficiencias Auditivas?, ¿cuáles son las necesidades de formación permanente de los docentes en servicio en la modalidad de Educación Especial del área Deficiencias Auditivas? y ¿cómo diseñar una propuesta de formación permanente que responda al perfil ideal del docente de deficiencias auditivas y a las propias necesidades de formación permanente planteadas por los docentes en servicio del área?.

This work is centred on the training needs and the real profile of the Special Education teachers in charge of the students with hearing impairment in Venezuela, so that a Continuing Training proposal could be planned, a proposal which answers the needs demanded by the teachers and the ideal features required by the Government of Venezuela. The research exposes the following questions: Which must be the features that characterise Special Education teachers of the Hearing Impairment area? Which are the needs of these Special Education teachers of the Hearing Impairment area? And how can we plan a Continuing Training proposal which corresponds with the ideal profile of a Hearing impairment teacher and also with the own Continuing Training needs of the teachers of this area?
