Abstract
Se describen los principales niveles de terraza de los ríos de este sector atlántico suroccidental y su evolución cuaternaria. Estas evidencias geomorfológicas indican inicialmente una orientación fluvial NE-SO, para ir paulatinamente cambiando hacia trazados N-S por control tectónico y variaciones del nivel del mar.
The main alluvial terraces of the southwestem atlantic area are defined and also the evolution ojtheirs rivers. The geomorphological evidences shows a NE-SW fluvial directions in the begining and N-S tracing later, controlled by tectonic deforrnations and the Quatemary sea level fluctuations.
