Relaciones entre trabajo social y sociedad

Abstract

Pretendemos poner de manifiesto cómo existe una tntima relación entre la disciplina y ía sociedad en la que se desarrolla. Para ello, hacemos un repaso de ías cuestiones que ilustran esta reíación: la configuración histórica del trabajo social, las relaciones existentes con la política social, la formación académica como espacio donde se producen y reproducen las contradicciones del trabajo socíal y una aproximación a las manitestaciones materíales de/objeto. Creemos que el trabajo social necesita tomaruna mínima distancia frente a las exigencias que impone el contexto social en el que se desenvuelve, y poder analizar críticamente lo que sucede en su entorno como medio para conseguir una sociedad mejor
