Abstract
La
importancia
de
generar
en
el
alumnado,
como
parte
de
su
desarrollo
personal,
la
realización
de
su
proyecto
vital
y
profesional
ha
colocado
a
la
figura
del
orientador
en
el
punto
de
mira
de
este
reto.
El
orientador
emerge
como
un
agente
de
cambio
que
ha
de
ayudar
a
la
persona
a
superar
los
obstáculos
que
encuentra
en
el
contexto
social
y
educativo
para
construir
un
futuro
óptimo.
El
trabajo
que
presentamos
parte
de
un
diseño
metodológico
apoyado
en
la
evaluación
de
programas.
A
partir
de
ello
y
mediante
grupos
de
discusión,
entrevistas
en
profundidad
y
escalas
de
evaluación,
hemos
realizado
una
evaluación
de
necesidades
en
seis
centros
de
la
provincia
de
Huelva,
abordando
un
estudio
de
casos
de
buenas
prácticas
y
posteriormente
la
evaluación
del
Programa
Orient@cual.
Los
resultados
obtenidos
señalan
la
necesidad
de
una
mayor
intensidad
de
la
orientación
profesional
ante
una
desmotivación
generalizada,
de
una
falta
de
conexión
entre
la
formación
profesional
y
el
mundo
empresarial
y
de
un
cierto
abandono
por
parte
de
la
administración.
Asimismo,
el
programa
Orient@cual
ha
obtenido
una
elevada
valoración
tanto
del
alumnado,
como
por
parte
del
profesorado
y
del
departamento
de
Orientación.
The importance of creating in the students, as a part of their personal development, the realization of their life and professional project has set the counselor figure in the spotlight of this challenge. The counselor emerges as an agent of change who has to help the person to overcome the obstacles in the social and educative context to build an optimum future. The work we present comes from a methodological design supported in the programs’ evaluation. From this and through discussion groups, deep interviews and evaluation scales, we have made an evaluation of needs in six centres of the province of Huelva, dealing with a case study of good practices and, later, with the evaluation of the Orient@cual Program. The outcome obtained point out the necessity of a bigger intensity on the vocational guidance facing a generalized lack of motivation, a lack of connection between the vocational educational and the enterprise world as well as some desertion from the administration. Besides, the Orient@cual program has obtained a high valuation from the students, teachers and the Counseling department.
