El juego deportivo-musical como transmisor de valores no violentos

Abstract

En esta comunicación se intenta transmitir la importancia del juego dentro de la Educación Física y Musical, concretándose con la práctica deportiva como posibilidad de adquirir una serie de valores que están muy lejos de tener algún rasgo violento o de agresividad, quizás todo lo contrario, se consigue adquirir valores de tolerancia, amistad, cooperación, igualdad, etc. El juego es un importante recurso desde el punto de vista didáctico, por cuanto que dispone al alumno y a la alumna a la realización de actividades de una forma lúdica, pero que al mismo tiempo garantiza una importante contribución al desarrollo de los ámbitos: cognoscitivo, sensorial-motriz y social-afectivo. Su utilización no está exenta de fundamentación, que al mismo tiempo que la justifica, la respalda y que hace de él un recurso motivador y estimulador de cara al tratamiento y la realización de diferentes aprendizajes. Serán el profesor o la profesora quienes determinen la finalidad didáctica del juego y las situaciones en los que deba desarrollarse, garantizando un adecuado nivel de adaptación a las características de los participantes. Lo importante, por otra parte, será de disponer de una amplia gama de juegos que pueda dar respuesta en cada momento a las necesidades educativas. En el repertorio se debe incluir aquellos juegos y deportes tradicionales, que en muchos casos, están a punto de desaparecer, por entender que forman parte del patrimonio cultural. Se intenta transmitir la importancia de la práctica deportiva a través del juego o viceversa para la adquisición de valores no violentos o agresivos.

This article tries to portray the importance of games within Physical and Musical Education, focusing on the sports practice as a possibility of acquiring a series of values, which are far from having any violent or aggressive feature; and maybe having all the opposite, obtaining values such as tolerance, friendship, cooperation, equality, etc. A game is an essential resource from the didactic perspective, since it prepares the students to carry out activities playfully; but at the same time, it ensures an important contribution on the development of the fields: cognitive, sensorial-motor, and social-affective ones. Its use is not free from the basis, which at the same time justifies it, supports it, and makes from it a motivating, and stimulating resource for the treatment, and realization of diverse lessons. The teachers are going to be the ones, who determine the didactic aim of the game and situations in which it must be developed, ensuring a suitable level of adaptation to the participants’ characteristics. On the other hand, access to a great variety of games, which answers each time to the educative needs, is going to be important. Those traditional games and sports, which in some cases are about to disappear, must be included in the collection as part of the cultural patrimony. This article tries to transmit the importance of the sports practice throughout a game or vice versa, for the acquisition of non-violent or non-aggressive values.
