Abstract
tradicionales femeninos a nivel local
para la conservación de la agrobiodiversidad
como parte de la soberanía alimentaria.
Abstract In the face of environmental crises, homogenized diets, and the loss of traditional knowledge, it is important to understand the role of women in the conservation of agrobiodiversity and food sovereignty. The objective was to identify the knowledge dialogue between rural women and educational and development institutions to revalue and highlight their traditional knowledge related to agrobiodiversity, as well as their contribution to food sovereignty. The research was conducted in eight communities in the municipality of Ixtlahuaca, using ethnographic techniques to observe the use and management of agrobiodiversity through the knowledge dialogue. The results show that the knowledge dialogue fosters innovation in food production, the recovery of local food plants, and the visibility of traditional female knowledge. The knowledge dialogue is key to valuing and utilizing this traditional female knowledge at the local level for the conservation of agrobiodiversity as part of food sovereignty.
