La Segunda República Española en los libros de texto de bachillerato de Andalucía

Abstract

Con este trabajo, se pretende dar respuesta a la siguiente cuestión: ¿existen diferencias entre libros de texto indicados para un mismo nivel educativo y para un mismo contenido, siendo además utilizados en la misma Comunidad Autónoma y bajo una misma ley educativa? Para esto hemos realizado un análisis de carácter documental de tipo cuantitativo y otro de tipo cualitativo, a tres libros de texto de Historia de España, indicados para segundo de bachillerato en la Comunidad Autónoma de Andalucía, estando en vigor la Ley Orgánica de Educación (LOE). Más concretamente, nos hemos centrado en las unidades didácticas dedicadas al estudio de la Segunda República Española (1931-1939). Los resultados muestran notables diferencias, lo que demuestra la importancia de la elección por parte del profesorado entre una editorial u otra.

In order to do that a documentary analysis with has been carried out, one quantitative and another qualitative to three different textbooks of the Spanish History suitable for the second year of higher Secondary Education in the autonomous community of Andalusia with the Organic Law of Education (L.O.E.) still in force. The focus has been put in the didactic units devoted to the study of the Second Spanish Republic (1931-1939). The results show significant differences, that is to say, it demonstrates how important is the teacher’s choice for one publishing house or another.
