Abstract

The existence of a structural high in the Caspe- Maella area, related with the palaeozoic outcrop of Puigmoreno provokes the groundwater discharge of the carbonate mesozoic aquifer (regional aquifer). The recharge area of this aquifer takes place in the Iberian Chain and the discharge takes place through low permeable tertiary detritical material of Ebro Basin
