Abstract

Since 1585, Canary islands has suffered 12 eruptions, the last in 1971 in La Palma. The main problem searching common behaviours for previous planning is the small number of eruptions that we have. All the eruptions show some general characteristics as chemistry, explosivity, etc. where we can construct a «medium type» eruption , that will be the most probable in case of occurrence. The deep study of each historical eruption provides vital in formation when modelizing a future process to plan and reduce its consequences
