Abstract
Frente a las visiones más frecuentes del impacto negativo que la televisión tiene en los niños y jóvenes, la autora plantea un universo investigativo donde la televisión tiene una clara influencia positiva, que demanda el uso de los medios en las aulas. En el contexto de escuelas rurales, situadas en zonas de economía de subsistencia de Argentina, donde el aislamiento y las carencias más elementales saltan a la vista, la autora apuesta por el efecto positivo de los medios como instrumento de enriquecimiento cultural y social.
Facing the most frequent views of the negative impact that television has on children and young people, the author suggests an investigative universe where the television has an obvious positive influence, which claims the use of the media in the classrooms. In the context of rural schools, located in areas of subsistence economy in Argentina, where the isolation and the most basic scarcities are obvious, the author bets on the positive effect of the media as an instrument of cultural and social prosperity.
