Entre la Tradición Arqueológica y la Innovación Tecnológica. Avances y Perspectivas en el Estudio de la Ciudad Romana de Arucci (Aroche, Huelva)

Abstract

Desde que el grupo de Arqueología de la Universidad de Huelva, Vrbanitas. Arqueología y Patrimonio (HUM 132) comenzara sus estudios en la ciudad romana de Arucci (Aroche, Huelva), se han llevado a cabo múltiples labores de investigación, las cuales, desde diferentes enfoques y perspectivas, han posibilitado ampliar sustancialmente el conocimiento que sobre este enclave se posee. En esta línea, el presente trabajo ofrece los resultados de las últimas investigaciones desarrolladas en este núcleo urbano, relativas a los procesos de escaneado láser combinado con fotogrametría y de prospección geofísica con georradar realizados durante la campaña de investigaciones desarrollada en el año 2022, así como a los trabajos de excavación realizados en el marco de la campaña de 2023. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since the archaeology group of the University of Huelva, Vrbanitas. Archaeology and Heritage (HUM 132) began its studies at the archaeological site of the Roman city of Arucci (Aroche, Huelva), multiple research projects have been carried out, which, from different approaches and perspectives, have made it possible to substantially expand the knowledge we have of this space. In this line, the present work offers the results of the latest research carried out in this city, relating to the processes of laser scanning combined with photogrammetry and geophysical prospecting with georradar carried out during the research campaign carried out in 2022, as well as the excavation work carried out in the framework of the 2023 campaign.
