Abstract
«Rostros de Mujer» es una propuesta educativa y lúdica destinada a la Red con el fin de
ofrecer recursos para el análisis de estereotipos femeninos en la publicidad. En este artículo se
citan distintas consideraciones sobre los estereotipos de género y se muestra el
funcionamiento de la ludoteca virtual que permite a los usuarios desvelar y hacer una lectura
crítica de diversos anuncios publicitarios. Se trata de una apuesta por la educación mediática
dirigida al estudio de la publicidad en los medios, que con frecuencia presentan una imagen
superficial y desigual de la mujer frente al hombre.
«Faces of Women» is an educational and playful proposal created for provide resources in the Network for the analysis of female stereotypes in advertising. This article cites various considerations on gender stereotypes and show the operation of the virtual playroom which enables users to uncover and do a critical reading of various advertisements. It is a commitment to media literacy for the study of advertising in the media which often present a superficial and patchy image of women compared with men.
