Abstract
El presente trabajo trata de un relato de investigación, cuyo foco fue una experiencia
de lectura y producción de la imagen en la formación de educadores del sistema público
de enseñanza de la ciudad de Parnamirim, en el Estado de Rio Grande do Norte, al
nordeste de Brasil. La referida ciudad, marcada en su historia por la presencia de una
base aérea norte-americana durante la II Guerra Mundial, fue el escenario para la producción
de un documental en vídeo sobre la temática de la pluralidad cultural presente
en los parámetros curriculares nacionales. Los sujetos de la investigación, educadores
municipales, participaron de forma colectiva en todas las etapas, desde la concepción
del guión y la elección del género del programa, hasta su lanzamiento en la comunidad
y la divulgación en las escuelas municipales
The present work consists of a research report focused on an experiment with image production and reading aimed at the training of teachers of the state school system in the district of Parnamirin, which belongs to the state of Rio Grande do Norte, in the north-east of Brazil. This district, marked by the presence of a North American military air base during the Second World War, was the setting for the creation of a video documentary on Cultural Diversity, which is part of the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais. The subjects of the research, teachers of this district, took part in all the stages collectively, from the script and the selection of the format, to the release of the programme in the community and its following spread through the school network
