Abstract

En el año 45 Cicerón tiene que soportar la pérdida de su hija Tulia. Es el golpe más duro de la vida del ya anciano senador. Decide perpetuar su memoria y proyecta la erección de un monumento. Se afana a ello. Pero finalmente, el paso del tiempo, junto a su poderosa y pragmática visión de la vida, se impone a su sentimiento inicial. La idea del santuario da paso a la búsqueda de una propiedad en la que pasar el resto de sus días._____________________________In 45 B.C., Cicero had to bear with the loss of his daughter Tulia. This is one of the most tragic events in the life of the old senator. He devoted himself to the dessign of a monument to perpetuate her memory, however time going by together with his powerfuly pragmatic way of life, changes his initial projects. He transformed his ideas on a sanctuary into a private property to spend the rest of his life.
