Inmigración y discapacidad : una aporximación a las "otras" discapacidades

Abstract

En los últimos diez años la inmigración en España ha crecido notablemente, prueba de ello, son los numerosos estudios e investigaciones que atienden el fenómeno migratorio en distintas áreas. No obstante, en el contexto de salud, sobre todo, con el colectivo de extranjeros discapacitados, no ha habido una especial atención. El texto que se presenta se aproxima a una realidad de este colectivo en España y su recorrido de integración social. Comenzaremos acercándonos a la realidad actual de los extranjeros discapacitados, ofreciendo algunos datos estadísticos, la atención social que reciben, así como su trayectoria de integración, sus posibles problemas y sus oportunidades de vida.

In the last ten years the immigration to Spain has grown significantly, evidence of this are the numerous studies and research that serving the migration phenomenon in different areas. However, the health context, especially with the group of foreigners with disabilities, there has been no special attention. The text that is close to a reality of this group in Spain and their social integration path. Start approaching the reality of immigrants disabled, providing some statistical data, the social care they receive, as well as its integration path, their potential problems and opportunities of life.
