La seguridad en Reino Unido tras el Brexit: déficits observables en el discurso tory hegemónico

Abstract

Consumada la victoria de los partidarios del Brexit en el referendo de 23 de junio de 2016, las amenazas para la seguridad británica siguen siendo las mismas que antes de la citada consulta (Rusia, ISIL,…) y así se observa en el argumentario del actual gobierno británico. Los brexiters fomentaron un discurso demagógico y populista, basado en sostener que el abandono de la UE (y la consiguiente supuesta recuperación de la soberanía nacional) inmunizaría al Reino Unido frente a cualquier amenaza para su seguridad

After the victory of the supporters of Brexit in the referendum of June 23, 2016, the threats to British security remain the same as before the aforementioned consultation (Russia, ISIL,...) and this is observed in the argument of the current British government.
