Florentino Díaz García, In Memóriam

Abstract

This note is aimed to remember our friend and colleague Florentino Díaz García, died last august in Oviedo, the city where he obtained his grade in Geology and his PhD, and in whose University taught during twenty six years. We worked with him in several research projects funded by the Spanish government and devoted to the study of the Galician allochthonous complexes. In these few words dedicated to his memory, Florentino’s scientific trajectory is sketched together with his friendly and cheerful character
